BeskrivningClover has evented up to El110 and EI100. This is a horse who is very brave cross country. He does not take a pull and is a chilled out kick ride type. Clover is perfect for giving a junior/amateur rider confidence in show jumping and cross country due to his forgiving a layback nature.
In his first season to move up to EI110 he was 7th in Tattersalls, the DAFM 6yo class and 8th in Clyda, these were big and complex tracks. He is still new at this level, but we believe he shows great promise.
A horse with a serious jump. He has made the move up to 1.10s SJ| with ease, jumping double clear at the Cavan 3 Day Show, Coilog and Mullingar. He is very easy to set up to a fence and is forgiving if the rider makes a mistake.
He has received low 30s dressage marks in Eventing at EI100. He was 2nd in his Prelim category at Coilog receiving 68% and 66% in the Novice.
He has been trained up to elementary level in dressage, with leg yields, shoulder in, counter canter, rein-back and turn on the forehand.
Clover has been very easy and level headed to train in all 3 phases.
He does not get stressed at home or competing. He has a very calm temperament for a horse with such power, scope and movement.
Not only would be Clover be suitable for rider to go up the levels but also he would be straightforward enough for a Young Rider/ Junior Rider / Amateur.
Clover is very easy on the ground, quiet to shoe, box and clip.
