Riding staff. We have +/- 25 well behaved horses on our beautiful yard; 10 of them are livery horses, 5 youngsters (4 and 5 yo) and 10 competition horses that compete in international eventing up to 4* the 2024 season. Our existing team consists of one rider (Australian nationality), two grooms and two stable workers. Spoken language at the stables is mostly English, as our rider (head of the team) is Australian. We are looking for someone passionate that is happy to work in a team atmosphere and speaks german or English well enough to communicate at the stables. Main parts of the job are all tasks concerning the training of the competition horses: grooming, getting ready for riding and making sure they're well taken care of to be able to perform at their best. Also included: bringing horses to walker, paddocks/ fields as well as lunging and putting and handling the horses on the water treadmill/ Aqua trainer. No mucking out required. We are looking for someone who is happy to travel to several international eventing competitions across Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, and local national competitions (accommodation and food will be provided while traveling of course). The ideal candidate also has good (flat)riding skills to support with mainly the younger horses.
